10 Epically Awesome Things about ME

 1 .I Love Hubbie the Dearest, no really, love him dearly.

2. My child is back in that exasperating mommy clingy, up your a$$ 24/7 clingy phase , after being sick.
3. I need Calgon to take me away to a nice giant bubble bath filled garden tub, with a never ending supply of my favorite wine/beer, a good book, time to read the entire book, and nobody else screaming mommy or wifey for 10 miles. And no spiders, bugs, snakes or mosquitos.
4. To tell you how long it's been since I read a good book, the fact that I have had a Nook gift card since Christmas, says it all. And I love to read!(I also cannot find my nook cord after moving in Jan)
5. My favorite wine/beer/malt beverage is Lindeman's Framboise Lambic.  Sour raspberry yummo drinkage right there.  I desperately need some! Like a case!
6. I have spent my entire life looking for the perfect one for me, and I found it! Yep, I an in love with my vibrator.  It is so epically awesome, It deserves this award! Hah! No seriously, never even put the batteries in! B.O.B. is the bomb baby!
7. Being a SAHM is the most wonderful blessing in the world, and is also a huge sacrifice.  Money, my social life, time of my own, my sanity, and mommy brain! But I wouldn't trade this opportunity for anything in the world. it's the schizit!
8. I freaking adore my kid. She is the berries!
9. I think my husband and my daughter are the funniest human beings on the planet!
10. I bought my hub a Harley for Father's Day, the year I got knocked up! Whoo Hoo! Live to Ride baby!
11. A bonus ME fact, I adore tacos.  I love meat(betcha couldn't have guessed that one huh? HeeHee), cheese, sour cream, creamy(heehee)guacamole and lots of tomatoes in a hard(bahaha) shell! I am a bad, bad girl! Wink!

1- I am living my dream.  I always wanted a little girl when I was growing up, and now I am staying home to raise her.  It's breaking my heart she will be 5 in August, and she starts Kindergarten the day after her birthday.

2- I love my husband.  No, seriously! I adore my husband, my best friend.  I found my soul mate, conked him over the head with a frying pan, and drug him to the alter! Wink!

3- I have fantastically awesome boobs! Bahaha! I am completely blessed in the boobage department! I am very proud of my girls! They look awesome, fed my child, please my husband, and attract admiration from various and sundry strangers! And they are famous! Well if you count being on several videos from Chillicothe EasyRiders Bike Week a few years back..heehee!

                                                 

Very Inspiring Blogger Award

Good Afternoon Whipper Snappers! I am tickled pink to announce that I have been nominated for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award, by Comfytown Chronicles . So happy that you think I am very inspiring! This is a first for me, and CC, I am so very glad it was you! Wink!  I have been nominated for other awards as well, and I am currently playing catch up on getting those out! They will be coming soon!

 

So there are only two rules to this award;

So here goes with my 7 random facts!

 

1- My mother died 16 months ago.  She was my best friend.  I did her makeup at the funeral home, before her services, like I promised her I would.  One of my bff's came along for moral support, and two other friends showed up, and we turned it into a laughing, crying, morbidly hilarious makeup slumber party with my mom, just like we used to have when we were all younger.  The other two girls were like her daughters, so I am sure my momma was looking down from heaven laughing with us!

 

2- I have a beach fetish.  I went to Myrtle Beach every summer of my life when I was younger, on family vacations.  I have been to Cancun, Mexico twice, Cozumel, Mexico twice, the Atlantis Resort in Paradise Island, Bahamas, twice.  I have been to Clearwater Beach, FL, Daytona Beach, FL, OBX 4x, Virginia Beach, and that is all I can remember at the moment.

 

3-I used to follow WWF, WCCW, ECW, and all other major wrestling associations/federations.  My grandmother got my entire family hooked, when we went with her.  I used to, during and after college, go around and chase the wrestlers for autographs for my little brother.  I was once, invited back to the hotel room of one Mr. Arn Anderson, in Charleston, WV at Joey's, for those of you who may remember that landmark! I was definitely honored! ( I did not go of course!) (and for the record, I haven't followed wrestling in a very long time!) Tommy Rich and Buzz Sawyer baby! Old school!

 

4. I went to Marshall University, in Huntington, WV.  It is the school that the movie, We Are Marshall, is about.  I was an extra in the stands for the movie, at the annual spring Green and White game.

 

5. I have 3 tattoos, each with a bestie.  I want three more, one with Hubbie the dearest, a kid based tat, and a memorial tattoo to my momma.

 

6. I write three blogs.   This one, another one that chronicles my journey in grief after losing my mother, and a super secret bitchy blog, that my family does not have access to! Hah! A girl has to get it all out somehow, somewhere, right?

 

7. I have the biggest heart.  I cry at sad commercials.  I cried at the contestant story on The Voice last week, where his momma had two months to live, after being diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. I love everybody!

1. I still have lunch and play dates with my high school girlfriends.

2. I am a Harley chic. Our youngest daughter's middle name is Harley.

3. I love to read, but I currently cannot find my Nook cord, so that gift card I got for Christmas, is ya know, just hangin' out!!(we recently moved!)
4. I have 3 tattoos, and want two more.

6. I am a cry baby! I cry at sad commercials! Which my family thinks is hilarious!

8. My favorite quality about my best friends is that they remind me who I am when I get lost in the vortex of mommyhood and housewifedom! And they are an obscene amount of fun, and are all great listeners. And they would do anything for me, just like I would do for them!

5. Beach or Mountains? Both.  I am a beach baby, love, love , love the beach! I love my mountains.  I live in WV, which is all mountain-y.  When I recently moved away, I desperately missed my mountains! But I am back!
6. Which is your favorite Disney character/princess? Probably Cinderella
7. What do you want to be when you grow up? A mommy, after that, I don't know yet!(I quit Corporate America 2 yrs ago to live the dream people! I am a SAHM)
8. If money was not an problem, where would you want to live. My own Bahamian Island! No seriously.
9. If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money? Set up my entire family for life, and retire to my own, newly purchased Bahamian Island!
10. What is your favorite piece of clothing?Right now I would have to say my Black sweater, and my blue and white striped/polka dotted jammies! Most sentimental would be a purple scarf that was my mother's.
11. What is one makeup item you can't live without? One? Are you kidding me? Chapstick, Burt's Bees preferably in Pomegranite or Graprfruit flavor.  And my foundation/powder compact, because I cannot stand to have a shiny nose!

1. Why did you decide to start blogging? For me.  To keep me sane after becoming a SAHM almost 2 years ago, after quitting Corporate America.
2. What is your all time favorite book? Skye O'Malley
3. If you could meet any famous person, who would it be and why? Hugh Jackman, duh!(went to Jr High and HS with Jennifer Garner)
4. Who is the person that inspires you the most? My mother was.
5. What is your dream job? Driving the KARMA bus!
6. What is your favorite thing about being a parent? Hugs, Kisses, Snuggles, morning smiles, that someone calls me mommy, a little someone who thinks I am the berries, and a little someone all mine to have a bff relationship with , like I had with my mom, and grandmother! It was fulfilling my oldest dream!
7. What do you do to unwind? Karoake with Hubbie the Dearest,  and scalding hot bubble baths with a good book and a glass of Framboise Lambic.
8. Do you think of Facebook (and other social networking sites like Twitter) as a good thing or a bad thing? Why? Good for reconnecting and keeping SAHM's entertained and connected, but baaaaad because they are such time suckers, and I foresee one day my kid getting teased from some kid's mom's sister's brother in law showed the little kid a pic of my kid doing something embarrassing when she was little.  Since I chronicle our lives in pictures on my fb.
9. What is your all time favorite TV show? The Smurfs and Sons of Anarchy, Spartacus season ! was pretty awesome too!
10. Where do you want to be in 5 years? Independently wealthy, retired on my own private Bahamian Island.
11. What is your guilty pleasure? I don't deny myself things, If I want it, I have it.(I have the booty to prove it! Hah!)  So my answer would have to be date night with the hub.
