  1. My kid has recently discovered a 11 year old Scholastic Children's dictionary of her older sisters. So tonight she wanted me to read me her the names of all the flags of all the countries listed in the back, and she kept giggling at all of the country names like UzzBekistan...that and today I learned that crayon can be used on skin to draw a bluebeard pirate beard! Who knew? I knew it was too, too quiet! Hah!

  2. Just a quick funny-my kids were arguing out in the yard and things must have been getting tense, because all of a sudden I heard my younger daughter yell at her older brother "YOU'RE FIRED!" I hate to tell her that's not gonna do it...

  3. Thanks for the new hop....now following...I have four kids, so I have many stories...however, there was one with my son...kinda sad, but laugh about it now...I had a hamster in a ball when he was 3, he is going to be 23 Sunday..anyway..I went upstairs to use the bathroom...and he was in the hallway holding the hamster...I was like Hey..what's wrong with the Hamster...he says to me...I spanked it...I said Why would you do that...? Because he pooped on your bed...OMG...needless to say...the poor hamster passed away...but looking back now..I have to laugh at his words....

  4. This is awesome, congrats, Snappy Ginger! This morning my 3 yr old woke up before me and came to wake me up in bed, when I got up she said "Thank you my wake up!"
Conversly, on Monday when my teenager woke up, he was NOT happy about waking up, going to school, or making his own eggs and kept grumbling nonsense like "What is wrong with these eggs?! Normally eggs don't just LOOK LIKE THIS when you put them in the pan." (there was nothing unusual about the eggs, he's just grumpy in the morning.) What a difference 14 years makes, ey?? :)

  5. My youngest is now 14 and our home is open every Friday night to a bunch of stinky, sweaty, loud teenage boys. My post is about things I hear at those sleepovers like "You hit me in the nut sack" or "Sit your ass down, we're trying to sleep" and my favorite, "Will you quit throwing hot dogs. I might wanna eat those!"

    Never a dull moment!

  6. I literally tattled on my five year old in my linked post! She told me a secret and threatened me by saying that if I told anyone she would "put boogers in my shoes." So no one better tell her! ...I love my shoes too much!
